When you visit the website
With every request the host processes the IP address, date and time, the address requested, the browser’s identifier and the page visited before, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running it securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not store these data ourselves; the host keeps them as long as it needs them for operation and security.
Host: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), service “Cloudflare Pages”. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or else on the EU standard contractual clauses in Cloudflare's data processing addendum.
When you write
If you write to us, at contact@klaideni.com or the address above, we process your e-mail address and message to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the message once the matter is settled.
If you ask to hear when KLAIDENI comes to the App Store, we use your address for that alone, with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): we write to you once at launch, then delete the address. You can withdraw your consent at any time with a short message.
Recipient of the mail: Proton AG (Switzerland), which hosts our mailbox. Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) forwards mail sent to addresses at klaideni.com there. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or else on the EU standard contractual clauses in Cloudflare's data processing addendum. Switzerland has an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Providing these details is voluntary; without them we cannot reply.
On your device
If you choose light or dark with the switch at the top, your browser keeps that choice (“klaideni-theme”). It never leaves your device and is removed as soon as you choose your system’s setting again.
Your rights
Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you can object to it at any time (Art. 21 GDPR).
You can ask for access to your data and have it corrected, erased or restricted and receive your data in a common format (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to the address above. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in Liechtenstein the Datenschutzstelle (datenschutzstelle.li).
The app
The KLAIDENI app has its own privacy policy (in German).
